Freerice is an educational trivia game, supported by the United Nations World Food Programme, whereby every correct answer generates money that goes towards WFP’s operations and mission to end hunger worldwide.

It is free to play and includes a range of categories such as languages, science, maths, humanities and geography with a number of difficulty levels.

Teachers are being encouraged to use Freerice in their classrooms as a fun educational tool that introduces the Global Development Goals and raises awareness on the global issue of hunger.

By creating a group and inviting all class members, each class can see how many grains of rice they have raised at the end of every year.
