Makaton Training Courses
This two- day foundation workshop is aimed at professionals who are inregular and lengthy contact with those who have special or complexcommunication needs, or anyone who is considering training as a Makatontutor. Delegates will learn about research into sign use, symbols designthemes, the use and purpose of Makaton and an overview of alternativesystems of communication. Practitioners will learn to use the earlystages of the Makaton vocabulary.
