Your guide to the latest early years documents

Are you using the most recent Government documents giving advice on early years and safeguarding legislation?

There's been a flurry of updates to guidance recently. Pennie Akehurst, author of a Nursery World series on Ofsted reports, provides an up-to-date list.

- Local Safeguarding Children Board Guidance - watch out for changes as all LSCBs are in a phase of transition. I would hope that all councils have mechanisms in place to communicate changes to you...but it isn't always the case.

- The EYFS (Revised Feb 2018)

- Working Together to Safeguard Children (Feb 2018 consult response) but still working to the Feb 2017 guidance currently.
