Jasmine's language is extending rapidly as she puts simple phrases together. She mimics the adults around her. When something goes wrong she can be heard saying, 'Oh no - never mind'. She refers to bananas as 'nana's yellow', and pats her (expectant) mother's 'bump' and says 'Ezzababy in a mummy'.
While watching a video of herself playing and dancing, Jasmine copied her own actions, keeping an eye on the screen at all times, and changing her actions accordingly.
Some of Jasmine's toys take up a lot of room (small slide, pushchair, bike and ball pool). Her parents have introduced an 'only two large toys at a time' rule. She has accepted this rule happily and quickly. At times she takes her bike to the store cupboard herself when she wants something else brought out.
