The nursery group has bought The Malvern School, which operates sites across Southeastern Pennsylvania and Central New Jersey.

The settings add to Busy Bees’ existing portfolio of sites in the United States and Canada, most of which operate under the brand – BrightPath Early Learning.

In North America alone, Busy Bees operates 208 centres, caring for more than 25,000 children.

The nursery group now has almost one thousand sites across the UK, Europe, Asia, Australia and Canada.

Chief executive of Busy Bees North America Mary Ann Curran said, ‘We are thrilled to welcome The Malvern School into the Busy Bees family. This strategic move strengthens our position as a leader in early childhood education and care in the United States. The Malvern School's commitment to high standards of care and innovative curriculum makes them an ideal partner for us.’
