
The setting closed last month and parents of pre-school children starting school this term were told they could no longer return due to the nursery operating at a ‘limited capacity’.
It comes after the nursery was rated inadequate by Ofsted in May due to safeguarding concerns. Reports suggest the setting subsequently had its funding axed.
Busy Bees said while the nursery was closed it had put a new centre director in place and ‘all the teams’ received ‘intense training in key areas’.
A phased reopening of the nursery began on Friday 13 August, starting with its Bombo and Buzz rooms. The nursery group said it has ‘plans in place’ to reopen its Foundation room (pre-school) for more children in the ‘near future’.
