My Family Week 2018, a week of free activities to help early years settings celebrate all families, will run from Monday 8 to Sunday 14 October.
The initiative was launched last year by early years consultant Laura Henry.
It includes a programme of activities based on Ms Henry’s children’s book Jo-Jo and Gran-Gran which encourage discussion and celebration of different types of families.
Nurseries and childminders can sign up to take part in Family Week 2018 online and will receive a pack of resources to promote discussion and activities on the theme of family.
They will also be encouraged to share their activities and news online using the hashtag #MyFamilyWeek
