
Based in a former church, the 100-place nursery and forest school, boasts a creative studio, construction area, and a performance/meditation studio.
This is the group’s sixth nursery. It also operates settings in Runcorn, Widnes, and Warrington – all in Cheshire.
Dunky’s worked closely with child development expert and director of Child First nurseries Tom Shea on the design of the new nursery.

Manager Jess Russell told Nursery World they have plans to introduce animals to their forest school, including chickens whose eggs the chicken will use to bake with.
She added, ‘Both staff and children love the new setting. The outdoor area sparks curiosity in our children every day.’
Dunky's Day Nurseries was established in 2005 by owner Siobhan McCarroll.
