Clever Clogs buys settings to add choice

Management Provision
A nursery chain has tripled in size after it spent half a million pounds on two new nurseries.

Owner Andrea Townsley set up Clever Clogs Nursery in Belmont, Durham in 2007. She has now acquired two new settings, one in Hartlepool and the other in Bowburn, Durham.

Ms Townsley had found that parents were travelling from all over the area to place their children at Belmont. 'It is fantastic that we are now able to offer a choice of nurseries,' she said.

The nursery works hard to create an atmosphere where children can be happy and have a head start to their personal development in a stimulating environment.

Ms Townsley said, 'As a parent of young children myself, I understand how difficult it can be to leave your child at nursery and so at Clever Clogs we do our upmost to create a "home away from home".'
