Conference focuses on working in the babyroom

Babies' experiences of daycare are the subject of a conference on 9 July, taking place at Canterbury Christ Church University in Kent.

The conference will consider the care of babies in daycare settings in England, provisions made for them, environments created for them, policies and practice, and contemporary research about babies.

The conference will also celebrate the end of a research and development project carried out by Kathy Goouch and Sacha Powell from the university, who worked with practitioners from local nurseries who will be sharing their work.
