Eminent Professor Carol Dweck, author of Self Theories: Their Roles in Motivation, Personality and Development, who is best known for her research on motivation and learning, and the differentiation between learning goals and performance goals, will speak on 9 June at the Pen Green National Conference, 'Ready, Willing and Able-Developing capable, confident learners in our nurseries, children's centres and schools'.
