CWDC seeks EYPs' views on graduate status

Early Years Practitioners are invited to have their say on what graduate status means for them and the setting where they work by taking part in an online survey.

The Children's Workforce Development Council wants to hear from England's 4,000 EYPs about how their job roles have changed since gaining EYP status and what their future aspirations are.

The CWDC is urging EYPs to take part in the study to find out what effect graduate status is having on their career development and the impact of graduate status on the quality of education and childcare in early years settings and on outcomes for children.

The results will contribute to a three-year study on EYPs commissioned by the CWDC which is being carried out by researchers at Wolverhampton University.

The survey takes around 30 minutes to complete. Visit www.cwdcouncil.org.uk/eyp-survey. For more information or to request a printed version to return by post, contact Julie Richmond on 01902 323 006 or e-mail j.richmond@wlv.ac.uk.

The closing date for taking part is 19 February.
