The Early Years Teacher Organisation (EYTO) aims to enhance the status of Early Years Teachers among parents and employers.
EYTO was established by a group of Early Years Teachers who felt they did not receive enough support in their work.
Laura Kelly, an Early Years Teacher and creative lead for EYTO, said, ‘Unfortunately there is little support for EYTs once they gain their status. EYTO has been created to support and connect Early Years Teachers across the UK to gain the recognition they deserve.
‘EYTO offers CPD, networking with other Early Years teachers and access to a wide range of information and resources.
‘We are hoping to spread the word and ensure all EYTs know about this. It is nationwide so will bring together lots of EYTs across the country. Keeping in mind the EYTO motto: We are professional, we are dynamic, we are reflective, we are connected.’
