The Tinies Kids Club for children aged between four and 12 years isundergoing trials at two sites for the Orchard Group, a restaurant andpub chain with more than 300 branches.
Parents visiting the Porridge Pot in Longbridge, Warwick, or the SaltCellar in Middlewich, Cheshire, can leave their children in the care ofqualified childcare practitioners who will operate the club and provideactivities until 9pm seven days a week.
If the three-month trial is considered successful, it will be expandedto other Orchid Group sites aroud the country.
Oliver Black, director of Tinies, said, 'The clubs for the Orchid Groupare a first and it has the potential to be a very big market. We want tosee if it is a concept parents like and whether it helps to attractpeople to the restaurants.'
