Have you ever thought of bringing all the fun of the fair to your club? Can you imagine giving children the opportunity to play freely on all the sideshows, for an unlimited number of tries? Children have always loved the exhilarating rides, colours, sounds, and even smells that create the unmistakeable atmosphere of a fair, together with the charm of the sideshows, where you can 'pay your money and take your chance'.
But the chance to visit a fair comes once in a blue moon. And when one does come to town, those club members lucky enough to visit are likely to have just a limited number of tries on sideshows - limited either by money, the adults with them, or both! Sideshows may be available at local fetes at a cheaper price but the same restrictions are likely to apply. Subsequently, children don't have the chance to practise activities like 'hook a duck'
