Fatherhood Institute chief executive Duncan Fisher is leaving

Fatherhood Institute chief executive Duncan Fisher, who was awarded an OBE in the New Year Honours list for services to children, is leaving the Institute later this month to develop new campaigns on fatherhood with children's organisations.

The interim chief executives will be David Bartlett and Steve Harwood.The Institute has secured a 50 per cent increase in Government fundingto 440,000 for 2009-10. It is supporting the Think Fatherscampaign, launched in November 2008 by children's minister BeverleyHughes to improve the way children's services work with fathers.
