New technology aimed at safeguarding vulnerable people in Scotland was due to be launched by Scottish education minister Fiona Hyslop on Tuesday (10 March). The Vulnerable Person's System (VPS) will enable agencies to share information more quickly to help protect children and vulnerable adults from neglect or abuse.
