BBC Radio 4's Analysis strand examines whether the billions of pounds spent on free early years education has had the intended effect in 'The Early Years Miracle?' on Monday 10 February at 8.30pm. Nursery World Editor Liz Roberts is among the contributors.

Presenter Professor Alison Wolf looks at the theory that this huge government outlay is good for children, their parents and society as a whole to see if the evidence stacks up, and finds that the results aren't what was expected.
