A selection of fruit - apples, pears, bananas, melons, kiwis etc plates

Step by step
* Wash your hands and the fruit you need to prepare.
* Discuss the texture, look and smell of the fruit.
* Identify the names of the different parts of the fruit as you examine them. For example, the apple has a core and pips at the centre, white flesh inside, green, red or yellow skin, and a wooden stalk.
