Natasha Kirby, director of Boys & Girls Nursery Group said that the Rickmansworth nursery had been 'exceptionally busy' in its first month of opening, and had exceeded the group’s expectations of families registering with the site.
‘The children and team are settling well into the new environment, enjoying all of the new toys and activities,’ she said.
The new site can accommodate up to 100 children aged between three months and five-years-old and opened last month, with VIP guest Peppa Pig providing children’s entertainment.
The former care home has been converted to create four open-plan rooms, creating age-specific learning and play areas for babies (three- to- 12 months), pre-toddlers (12-24 months), toddlers (two- to- three-years-old) and pre-school children. The children can take part in activities such as cooking, music, dance and French lessons.
