The Watchsted map visualises the latest 100 inspections to be published, giving a summary of grades achieved and a link to the full report on the Ofsted website.
As Ofsted does not collect the names and postcodes of some providers, particularly childminders, they are grouped together at one point in each local authority and shown in a spider diagram. (see picture above).
Other new features include the ability to see the latest inspections by local authority or to search by postcode.
The new provider types are also shown on the analysis page, which offers benchmark comparisions of inspections carried out over time.
