To listen and respond to a rhyme and gradually pick it up.

To find out about wildlife in the sea.

To respond physically and emotionally to being the chaser and the chased.

To find out about taking risks.

How to play

* Draw a large circle to be the sea.

* Explain that the children are fish who can swim anywhere in the sea.

* A hungry shark also lives in the sea and may try to catch and eat them.

* As the shark swims in the sea, the other fish chant: Shark, shark in the sea, You swim so fast but You can't catch me.
