With increasing numbers of under-threes set to access funded early education, learn how to create the kinds of environments in which babies and toddlers thrive at our one day conference in London on Tuesday 9 July.
Aimed at nursery staff, early years SENDCos, early years advisers and those with an interest in early childhood development, the conference will equip delegates with advice and insights on developing provision to meet the particular needs of younger children.
Keynote talks will cover how to support children’s wellbeing, care routines, why forming strong and loving attachments are important and what babies’ brains need.
Delegates will pick from one of three workshops on the importance of self-initiated free movement, respectful physical interactions or how to create an exciting play environment.
Speakers include:
- Julia Manning-Morton, independent early years consultant, trainer and author.
- Dr Jools Page, senior lecturer at the University of Brighton.
- Penny Tassoni, consultant, author and trainer.
- Dr Mine Conkbayir, early years author, researcher and consultant.
