The nurseries were previously managed by Bright Horizons.
The five nurseries are based in north and central Oxford and Headington, and are the first move into the South of England for the North-West nursery group, which is now the third largest in the UK.
It means that the group will now operate 58 nurseries, after a period of significant growth in the last few years.
Kids Planet is also planning to open a new nursery in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, this summer.
Speaking about the group’s move into the South of England, Clare Roberts, CEO of Kids Planet said, ‘Against the backdrop of a challenging year, we are absolutely thrilled to take the Kids Planet brand to Oxford.
