The 93-place purpose-built setting in Charlton Hayes is currently under construction.
Once open in spring 2022, it will be Mama Bear's 26th nursery.
With the new setting, the group, which operates nurseries throughout Bristol, Devon, Somerset and the Midlands, will provide a total of 1,900 childcare places.
Mama Bear's managing director Chris Marston, said, ‘It’s extremely exciting to be opening a brand new nursery in Charlton Hayes and to bring a quality childcare setting to this neighbourhood.
‘The nursery is currently under construction and when complete will be fully resourced with brand new age-appropriate toys and equipment.’
