Ofsted inspectors tried to ban a school's pet dog on the grounds of ahealth and safety risk, reported the Times Educational Supplement. Thehead of the independent New School in Exminster, Devon, who rescued the11-year-old West Highland Terrier Rosie 18 months ago, carried out herown risk assessment, and now the dog will stay.
