Two-year-old Corey Read was told by a Co-op supermarket manager to take down his 'hoodie' when shopping with his parents in Norwich, said the Daily Telegraph. A Co-op spokesperson said it was policy for anorak hoods to be lowered for security reasons.

Pupils from Moncreiffe Primary School in Perth, Scotland, discoveredrare truffles while harvesting vegetables in their school garden,reported the BBC. The 250g of truffles have yet to be identified, butcould be worth hundreds of pounds if found to be the first discovery ofedible white truffles in the UK.
