- A girl of six was banned from taking her teddy on an Easyjet flight because it was deemed excess baggage, said the Metro. Alba Apricado-peris from Cambridgeshire was told that the bear could not join her in the cabin and was asked to pay 9 to put the teddy in the hold. The company has since apologised.

- The latest 'yummy mummy accessory' is a pushchair that converts into achild-carrying bicycle in just 20 seconds, according to the DailyTelegraph. The three-wheeled Taga carries children from birth to sixyears in a forward-facing seat secured by a harness between thehandlebars.
