Voice announced the winner of its award at the union's annual conferenceon 29 July in Daventry. Ms Darnborough, 26, has worked as a nanny foreight years and was nominated for the award by her currentemployers.
She said, 'I've been working for them for just over a year and we'vealways made the time to talk and communicate with each other. They havethree children aged seven, five and five months. It's quite challengingto meet the needs of all of them.'
She has gained the NNEB, a degree in early childhood and an advanceddiploma in child psychology. 'The more knowledge you have, the better.I'd like to do further courses in cognitive behaviour therapy orpsychology.'
