The site, which went live during the organisation’s parliamentary reception, Celebrating the early years community, on Tuesday, provides information on the National Day Nurseries Association's (NDNA) services and products, including an online shop.
The charity developed a three-year strategy to create a global online community after noting international interest in accessing NDNA resources, with website hits from nurseries in Dubai, India and Africa,
The website forms the first part of this plan, which the charity hopes will enable its advice and resources to reach a wider audience and provide support to early years practitioners beyond the UK.
Purnima Tanuku, chief executive of the National Day Nurseries Association, said, ‘The community will give everyone involved in the sector a platform to discuss issues, access training, share best practice and support each other.
