Redwoods Dowling Kerr has been selling nurseries for over 30 years. Itis hoped the acquisition will help Redwoods capitalise on the growth inthe nursery sector. The brokers have sold four nurseries since thebeginning of July, with one going for 1.85 million.
Redwoods also steered the sale of a 54-place London nursery to HappyChild Nursery Group.
BBTA chairman Stuart Middleton, said, 'Redwoods has an excellentreputation. The purchase of this well-established brand will furthercement its position as the number one choice for sales of nurserybusinesses.
'The nursery sector is still strong and banks are keen to lend for goodquality nurseries. There is huge growth potential for the company.'
