- Carnival Time

Children at Bright Start Nursery in Fairford Leys, Aylesbury,Buckinghamshire, made colourful costumes, musical instruments and flagsfor the nursery's carnival-themed party. As part of a week-long carnivalcelebration, they also listened to steel drums and tasted authenticCaribbean food.

- Keep on Toddling

Children at Stepping Stones Day Nursery in Lingley Mere, Warrington,took part in a sponsored Big Toddle on behalf of Barnardo's. The nurseryraised over 400 for the charity.

- Festival of Light

Children at Triangle House Day Nursery in Sowerby Bridge, WestYorkshire, celebrated Diwali, the Hindu festival of light, last weekwith the help of a member of staff who brought in traditional artefactsfrom home to show them. The children all tried on saris and bangles andsampled authentic Indian food.
