Commercially produced bookmarks ,black paper ,white card ,child-size pinking shears and scissors ,peel and stick sponge suns, moons and stars or yellow and orange paper stars, circles and crescent shapes ,glitter ,PVA glue ,glue spreaders ,glue sticks ,children's name labels ,sticky tape Step by step

* Show the children a selection of bookmarks and explain how a bookmark is used as a page marker. Suggest making a bookmark as a present for a special adult.
