Nursery World's Noticeboard - Jubilee Special!

See how nurseries across the country marked the Queen's 60-year reign.

Some nurseries organised their own parties, including Jellybabies Nursery and Pre-School in Longbridge (top), Devon childminders from Lympstone and Exmouth (middle), Ringwood Day Nursery in Hampshire (third), City Nursery in Leicester (fourth),  and Stepping Stones Day Nursery in Warrington (bottom).

St Margaret's Pre-School in Horsforth, Leeds (right), and Nithsdale House Nursery in Pollokshields, Glasgow (left), were honoured to receive a visit from 'the Queen.'

Other nurseries got creative in their efforts to mark the Queen's Jubilee. Children from Ripponden Pre-School in West Yorkshire created a collage of Her Majesty (top), while at The Close Nursery in Banbury, Oxfordshire (second) they made crowns for a competition. The chef at Hale Day Nursery in Cheshire (third) made a Union Jack cake, and Ireland Wood Children's Centre in Leeds  (bottom) created a themed display with a picture of the Queen and a corgi.

Busy Bees settings in Manchester receieved a visit from a Grenadier Guard.
