With more than half the regions already having held initial ‘scoping’ meetings with their Ofsted director, many are now planning larger consultations to take place in January and February.
LONDON
Following a scoping meeting with Ofsted on 4 December attended by region chair June O’Sullivan, chief executive of London Early Years Foundation, a wider meeting is now planned with regional Ofsted representative Debbie Jones in February, with further details to be confirmed.
NORTH EAST
After an open meeting on 14 January, the agenda has been set for the first north-east steering group meeting on 7 February at 2pm. This will be held with Nick Hudson, who this month started his new job as Ofsted’s director for early years, but will also continue as regional director for the North East, Yorkshire and Humber.
