Based at the Oxford Science Park, the 72-place nursery was previously operated by another provider that ceased trading in July.
The Old Station Nursery group will carry out a £100,000 refurbishment of the setting, which will include decoration and refurbishment of the garden, before it re-opens on 3 January 2017.
Sarah Steel, managing director of the Old Station Nursery, said, ‘Being located at the Oxford Science Park will be beneficial not only for people in the surrounding local area but for those working within the Park. We wholeheartedly support those parents who return to work and if they wish, actively encourage them to come to the nursery during their breaks for breastfeeding or playtime. It’s so refreshing that the nursery has the full support of the landlord as it’s clearly an important amenity for the Park. We can’t wait to open our doors to our new children and their families.’
