Orchestras for All, a charity that strives to promote access to group music-making for all young people in the UK, has launched its winter campaign, Music Changes Lives.
As part of the campaign, the charity has created a video (below) outlining its mission and work, encouraging others to share it.
The video comes with a fundraising push, with a goal of raising £10,000; each donation will be matched due to a promised donation of up to £10,000 from Harriet’s Trust.
In the description of the video, Orchestras for All says: ‘Every young person deserves to experience the joy of playing music with others. But in the UK, thousands of young people aged 11-18 currently lack musical opportunities because of the significant daily challenges in their lives.’
The money raised will go directly towards three inclusive programmes from the charity, with an aim to change the lives of young musicians across the world who otherwise face barriers to performing within an ensemble.
