Children at Little Acorns Stanlaw in Ellesmere Port , Cheshire, tried their hand at some DIY using real tools.
Nursery manager Emma Carney said, 'Children had lots of fun using the tools. One child was using the tape measure to measure the blocks, then got a hammer to hit the block in the middle. They all got to realise that tools can be used for a purpose but also that they can be dangerous if not used correctly.'
