Meanwhile you could make something productive out of the time the children in your care spend watching their favourite TV characters by slipping them the three BBC Learning Together magazines, called Toybox Teach Me, Learning Is Fun and The Magic Key. Home childcarers such as nannies may find it easier than schools to go along with Bob the Builder and the Tweenies, although the magazines' worksheet-style activities and games are carefully based on the Foundation Stage and Key Stage One curriculum.
