Jumpin' Beans Pre-School in Red Lodge, Suffolk, needs to find newpremises before the church's planning permission expires in Septemberand until the new village centre, in which it has been promised space,is built in five years' time.
Red Lodge Community Church has not committed to a decision to allow thepre-school to use the hall once it has been redeveloped, and thechairperson of the the village's Millennium centre has refused thepre-school space. The chair of the parish council has also refused itspace in a new 1.5m sports pavilion, which is sitting empty, saying it would not be cost-effective.
A private backer has offered to build a new setting for Jumpin' Beansuntil the new village centre is built, but Forest Heath council hasrefused to grant the pre-school temporary planning permission, as it hasother plans to build on the land available.
