The form should be completed by all early years providers registered todeliver the EYFS from September.
Self-evaluation is one of the changes to Ofsted inspections under theEYFS and will be used as the main document for planning inspections. Itcan be completed at any time, but Ofsted recommends updating it once ayear.
It is divided into three sections: setting details and views of thosewho use the setting, the quality and standard of the early yearsprovision, and information about compliance with statutoryrequirements.
The completed form should be returned to Ofsted.
