Share your expertise in working with babies

A call for papers has been put out ahead of the fifth annual Baby Room Conference in London on 2 September.

For the first time, the Faculty of Education at Canterbury Christ Church University, which runs the event, is accepting proposals for contributions on the care, learning, development or wellbeing of babies and children from birth to two.

Contributions can be made in the following forms:

Paper presentations of 20 minutes with extra time allocated for discussion

The conference was launched in 2010 following the work of researchers Kathy Goouch and Sacha Powell to support practitioners caring for the youngest children.

This year, the keynote speaker will be Annette Karmiloff-Smith from the Centre for Brain and Cognitive Development at the University of London, while American researcher Travis Wright will also be appearing.
