Work is already underway on the 150-place nursery at Cribbs Causeway on the outskirts of Bristol.
This follows the latest new development, a multi-million-pound renovation for Snapdragons Redland in Bristol, completed in September, which doubled the number of places on offer at this setting to 200.
The new expansion plans will bring the total number of Snapdragons Nurseries to 10, providing 1,170 places.
The group, based in Bath, Bristol and North Wiltshire, was started 21 years ago by Rosemary and Paul Collard from their farmhouse home in Wiltshire.
As well as growing through identifying areas of high childcare need, the new-build nursery is a departure for the group, which has built its expansion by acquiring older properties.
Mrs Collard said, ‘This is another exciting development for Snapdragons and we’re looking forward to next September when we will be welcoming another cohort of children, parents and colleagues to the growing Snapdragons family.’
