Position: Manager of the Old Station Nursery in RAF Benson, Oxfordshire.
- How did you feel winning the nursery chain's Manager of the Year award?
I was really pleased when owner Sarah Steel presented me with the award, which she said was in recognition of all my hard work in running a financially viable nursery with a happy team and parents.
- How long have you worked at the setting?
I have been at the nursery for ten years. I started here before it became part of the Old Station Day Nursery group and was working as a pre-school manager before being promoted three years ago.
- What are your future plans?
Unfortunately, I will be leaving the nursery in two years' time and moving to a different area as my husband is in the RAF and his time in the service is coming to an end.
