Position: Nursery nurse at the Old Station Day Nursery in Lincoln
- Why are you running the Adidas Silverstone half-marathon in March?
I enjoy running and wanted to raise money for Pancreatic Cancer UK, a national charity, after suffering from chronic pancreatitis for the last year. I am hoping to raise £500 in sponsorship.
- What training have you been doing?
I go running outside or at the gym when I feel up to it. In 2010 I ran the Hull and Humber, Newark and Nottingham half-marathons.
- What are your future plans?
I am currently doing my NVQ Level 3 and in May I am starting an Open University course on child psychology. The nursery has been so supportive and understanding of my condition. In October I will also be running my first full marathon in Dublin.
