- What made you sign up to Walk the Walk's Moonwalk, in aid of breast cancer?
My friend Maria Marron and I have taken part in Cancer Research's Race for Life for the last three or four years, and this year wanted to do something a bit different.
- How did the event last weekend go?
It was fantastic. The walk was 26.2 miles, the same distance as the marathon. We started at 11.40pm and finished at 7.30am the next morning. It was tiring but the atmosphere kept us going, and being able to see the sights of London. Between us we raised £1,500.
- How long have you worked as a childminder?
For two years. I was previously a nanny, and have looked after children since I was 19. This year is my 40th birthday.
