- What does your job entail?
As a resort recruiter, I employ people who have applied to work in childcare in one of Mark Warner's numerous resorts abroad. The role involves going through applications, holding interviews, doing CRB checks, getting references for successful candidates and catching up with employees abroad.
- What experience do you have working in the sector?
Before taking on the role of childcare recruiter, I worked ten seasons as a nanny and a childcare manager in Mark Warner resorts. After my last season I worked as a nanny in California, before being offered this position at the company's head office.
- Why would you recommend working abroad?
It's a great way to gain experience working with children of different ages. Each day there are lots of activities to do with the children and plenty of opportunities for promotion.
