Why did you decide to start a degree in Early Childhood Studies?
I wanted to push myself, and thought that doing the degree would benefit my work. I'm in my second year and will graduate with a foundation degree in July. I'm planning on continuing with the degree and hope to complete it in 2012.
When did you start at the nursery?
I joined Lincolnshire Montessori in 2005 as a nursery assistant at the setting in Stallingborough. After four years I moved to the newly opened Caistor nursery to work as the birth to three lead and SENCO co-ordinator.
What is it you enjoy most about your job?
Every day is different and presents new challenges. It's so rewarding and enjoyable working with children.
