Children at Horseshoe Day Nursery in Surrey had a magical day when they met the Princess Royal while she was visiting Sandown Racecourse.
They gave her posies of daffodils and helped her to plant a tree in preparation for the Diamond Jubilee. Although in awe, the children were slightly puzzled as to why she was not wearing a tiara or a dress like Cinderella.
