Survey by British Education Suppliers Association...

...reveals not enough ICT equipment in some primary schools.

 Forty per cent of primary schools believe they do not have enough ICT equipment, according to a survey by the British Educational Suppliers Association. Only 29 per cent of primary schools surveyed said they were well equipped with laptop computers, while 52 per cent said they had enough desktop computers. The report also found that many schools still do not have a learning platform - a combination of ICT tools and applications to support teaching and learning that can be accessed from the internet - despite a Government deadline for it in 2010.
